A diamond can score highly on a laboratory certificate and still appear dull, hazy, or lifeless in person. While IGI and GIA reports focus on technical grading, they do not account for critical visual characteristics that directly affect a diamond’s brilliance, beauty, and overall presence.

At AG & CO Jewellery, every diamond is meticulously screened and evaluated by our expert gemmologists. We go beyond the certificate to ensure each stone meets our uncompromising visual standards.

What We Look For

• Luster & Brilliance — The quality of light reflection that creates a diamond’s sparkle, fire, and life.
• Eye Cleanliness — Ensuring inclusions or blemishes are not visible to the naked eye.
• BGM Assessment — Identifying brown, green/grey, or milky undertones that can dull brilliance and reduce visual appeal.

A highly graded diamond on paper does not guarantee it will be visually beautiful in real life. Unfortunately, many jewellers sell diamonds with poor luster or unwanted undertones at premium prices—without disclosure.
